When you join our classes, you can be assured of :
Every dog is a sniffer dog!
A dog's nose is a truly remarkable thing!
Dogs that join the sniffing club will show their people what it is they do best of all :
Walk, train and learn about your dog in a small group.
Fun games, assignments and exercises en route.
Offered exclusively at the Duijfrak neighbourhood.
When you're away and your pet needs care, leave it to us.
We are committed to treat your pet as our own:
WHEN?
HOW LONG?
WHERE?
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Will you be getting a puppy soon?
How exciting! If it's your first dog, or a new puppy in the house for a long time, then of course you’ll have lots of questions, and we're eager to help you with that!
You can even start without a dog!
You are welcome even before your puppy comes home. That way we will have already become acquainted with one another an also we can provide some tips and information to prepare yourself even better.
The first weeks that your new puppy is in the house are the most important. Your puppy learns very quickly, the good but also less good things.
What’s in the course?
The puppy course lays the foundation for the rest of your dog's life.
At dogfacts dog training, we always start a course with an informative lecture.
All skills and exercises are then taught in a playful way, starting from contemporary evidence-based insights and animal- and human-friendly methods.
For whom?
All dogs from eight weeks of age are welcome. We work in small groups of max. four combinations.
All family members are also welcome. Learning together about the upbringing of your newest and best roommate!
At our puppy course, all the principles for raising a fine domestic dog are taught in a playful way, suitable for children accompanied by an adult.
Say what?
Did your young dog suddenly grow bananas in its ears? Now that's a challenging period in both your lives!
Everything that has been learned in the puppy era seems to have been forgotten... Let’s tackle that together!
During this course, you and your dog will learn different skills that come in handy in everyday life in a positive way.
Correct or ignore?
You won't find much of that with us.
Corrections maybe useful in an essay , and ignoring really doesn't make sense, that will only lead to frustration!
It is important for you to be patient and remain consistent in the upbringing of your dog.
Take that!
At dogfacts dog training, we encourage a reward-oriented approach to guide young dogs through this challenging phase. Force-free and reward-based does not mean that you are not allowed to set limits. On the contrary.
By rewarding desired behaviour and avoiding the practice of unwanted behaviour, you can teach your dog what is expected of him.
Our training methods are aimed at building a strong bond of trust between you and your dog, which is essential for a successful collaboration.
For whom?
The course is accessible for dogs from about 5 months of age who have already attended a full puppy course.
Certificates from another dog school will be reviewed prior to admission.
Come play with us!
Have some fun with your dog. In this course we will look at the obedience exercises from a different angle, supplemented with tips & tricks and fun games.
The exercises have a step-by-step structure, every dog and handler get the opportunity to train at their own level. Working together and having fun with your dog are paramount!
Playing on leash?
That doesn't seem safe to us, especially if dogs want to play with each other. Preferably, your dog can already work off-leash, if not, don’t worry, we’ll help you tackle that first.
Yes, but, how?
We’ll explain all that and more during a fun lecture in the first lesson, which you can attend without your dog
For whom?
All dogs from twelve months of age onwards who have completed a basic obedience course. Certificates from any other dog school wil be taken into consideration prior to enrolment.
Rehomed and adopted dogs are also welcome. For dogs that don't like other dogs or people that much, this can be a good way to learn how to deal with those triggers.
Small groups
We deliberately keep the groups small, with a maximum of four combinations so we can give everyone sufficient attention and good guidance.
we use humane and dog-friendly evidence-based methods for all
